It seems to be hard to buy for men. At least it is for me. There are only so many times I can buy golf clubs or fishing gear before I am looking for new ideas to get for the men in my life. This has led me to think a lot about things like gift baskets for him. Though women often get these from friends and family alike, it is not often many think to get them for the men they love. Just like the female version of these, they can be tailored to whatever it is that the man in your life might like to have.
You can fill gift baskets for him with food items if you wish, and that is always something that is appreciated. This is especially good for the single guy that does not like to shop or cook. I know this is something that we often get for my dad. He lives on his own and is not a great cook. When we find something he likes that we can include in a gift basket, it saves him from cooking a few meals, and he is always happy to get this. We also make ones that have the ingredients for a meal that he loves, but does not know how to cook. By including the ingredients and simple directions, he can have the meal that he wants with a little help from us. You don't have to make these either, as you can find them online.
You can also think about a man's interests when you want to get gift baskets for him. If he likes golf, you simply add things like golf balls, gloves, and perhaps prepaid time on a driving range or at a course that he likes to use. You should also include a gift certificate at a local sporting goods store so he can get what it is that he needs. You could also get him new golf grips to include in the gift baskets for him, but that is a risky buy if you don't know that they need new ones or which ones to buy.
You can incorporate almost anything into gift baskets for him if you wish, or you can buy them pre-made. No matter what it is that they like, you can find something that will go good in a basket. Though most men might seem a little put off when you hand them a gift basket, they are going to change their tune very quickly when they see they aren't getting a pile of fruit, but rather a basket full of goodies that they are going to love. It's not that fruit is bad, but most men won't see much value in getting a basketful. However, just about anything else is going to be very welcome and very appreciated.
What kind of food should I put in a gift basket, for movie night?
It's going to be a movie night gift basket for my boyfriend, it's for our 2 year annversy, and I cant buy him stuff , like video games or high price things like that , so instend I'm going to make a basket , any ideas.

Salt, sugar, and fat! Here are some ideas:
1. Chips and salsa or dip
2. Popcorn that you pop in the microwave
3. Beef Jerkey, or if you have the dough, buy some salami and
cheese
4. Candy: Reeses' cups, sourpatch kids, hershey bars, laffytaffy
Dots, Malted Milk Balls, Raisinettes (you can often
get 2 for the price of one)
5. Your favorite soft drink or sparkling cider
6. A gift book you make yourself with coupons he can redeem
when he wants, such as "Good for one free kiss" or "Good for
one free back rub". Use your imagination and have fun!
7. Have someone take a couple of polaroids of you and buy an
inexpensive frame for them. They make a nice addition!

You’re right that a wife should not have to constantly stroke her husband’s ego, but making sure the man in your life knows you respect and value him is important. A man shouldn’t have to constantly reassure his wife that he loves her, but that doesn’t mean men should never need to say ‘I love you.’
Also you forgot to put ” Dick's actions are speakinh volumes to you….” Take the time to be alone, it sucks yes , I know, but it is good for you and for your daughter. She needs to see that it is okay not to have a man in your life just to have one. She is young but kids, no matter what age are good on sensing what is wrong and what is going on. Your on the road to a great life…. Do not settle…
So running away from life's problems and milking the gullible for support makes you a christian? HARDLY!!!
Looking at your post the reason you do not have friends and family is surely your attitude?!!
Try getting rid of the nasty spiteful and resentful act and become someone people might not reject and then you may keep people's attention long enough to find some friends!!

Your wish to disappear from friends and family is a form of isolating, and is a symptom of severe depression. You are not dealing with the world as it actually is, but as viewed through a dark filter of pain. You feel cut off from everything that is vital or good. Find some help. Either your parents a school counselor can get you to someone with the ability to help you. I've been where you are. I know you feel helpless and exhausted, but a professional will reintroduce you to your life and to hope. Take good care, and be kind to yourself.
I raised two great and succesful daughter as a single parent.I must say I work my way to upper mangerment in a great company. I know my daughters are both succesful because I am a strong parent. I have also told them that thing will be better for them than me. My daughter choose to be single and are waiting to have children. The childhood I gave them was great we were never on welfare and I always had a job. The men in my life knew my childern were first in my life. After all this I married a great man and together we are raising my son. I have very high hopes for him and so does his sisters. I think if you have family any thing is possible. I have been bless to have a wonderful family and to learn the furtue up to you.
